The Humble Rosemary Versatility

Our Rosemary Shea butter has Vitamins A, E & F, is anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial which can be used as a general one stop shop skincare moisturiser. It is useful for itchy scalp; lip balm, aftershave, cuticle cream, healing tattoos just to mention a few.

Shea-Me Rosemary oil can be used as a blend with carrier oils and massage into the scalp daily as it helps to stimulate and strengthens circulation; treat dandruff, dry scalp and apparently slows premature greying. In addition it can be added to your favourite shampoo and conditioner for maintaining your hair and scalp.

The versatile Rosemary oil naturally contains camphor, cineole, alpha-pinene, borneol, camphene, beta-pinene, beta-phellandrene, myrcene, and bornyl acetate (Lakusic etal). Scientific studies have demonstrated that as a result of the presence of the above in the rosemary plant, it possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-tumor, anti-ulcer, immune stimulant, and enzyme induction.

Recent research has also shown Rosemary is good for the memory. So now I use this as a hot drink first thing in the morning, when I’m cooking roast potatoes and stews. I need all the help I can get naturally.

At Shea-Me we use only plant base products in all our skincare range
